I signed up for a Twitter account at last (altho BlogHUD has long been feeding my inworld commentary), but with a twist: moreso than posting updates about what I'm doing, I'll be sending out snippets 'n' blippets of ideas related to what I will be doing. Often, I get snatches of keywords and phrases that come and go, and I didn't feel too good about leaving them on in a local text file — enter the socially-networked world of sharing my brain sparks with the world.

Naturally, I had to customize my page too.

I'm a bit uncomfortable that Homer's eyeing me up.

New video tutorial (vidtut) from me — this time, not about Second Life but done in Adobe Photoshop! I was inspired by a couple things; upon finding out that the productivity mavens at Lifehacker are doing a Shortcut Screencast Contest, I decided to participate… so here's my entry!

This is a basic version of a trick I often do when image editing, and can be achieved in under 2 minutes, as you can see!

Another reason why I did this is because I aspire to be like Adobe sage, Russell Brown, maker of a great many vidtuts. I'd like to believe he's my creative ancestor, because the trails he's blazed I'm now charting out into.
