you mentioned Ansel Adams earlier…. there is his story about gray fields. Though it had its full value while working in the dark room, it is about having all the shades of gray well balanced. But, as long as I am concerned, techniques change but the result is what is count. It is nice to see somebody redoing the ancient B/W film tihngs with second life and photoshop. My humble oppinion, you are closest to it so far. Very very close. keep up the good work.
@dandellion: I agree it's a bit too dark, and that's why I balanced it with the upper-left corner. Thanks for your analysis too; I now think of what Ansel Adams might've really done in Second Life. I don't think he would've stayed in black & white.
@Vint: WindLight will return! A few weeks away, I'm hoping… in the meantime I continue to explore the system…
