There's a few probs on mah blog rite now; please pardon the mess. The Blog Board doesn't display correctly and neither do date headers, and occasionally upon loading my home page, you'll see the title in a gigantic font near the top of the screen. I've let Blog-City support know and I look forward, optimistically, to this being fixed soonesque.
You know that part where the saxaphone comes in during the "Love Theme" of Blade Runner? There's also a warm swirl of synth pads, a melancholic bass, and some electric piano chords?broken up like raindrops. Plunkity plunk plunk. Mashup that with the Beatles instead of Louis Armstrong on "What a Wonderful World", and you've got grounds for how I feel about Forseti Svarog's "Gone Fly-About", the latest SLog entry. SLog continues to get SLonger,
and more contributors are joining us in doing the jiggly-do-dah.
There are times when I rush too much, so I like to slow it down to a Clockstoppers pace (another film I've never seen with concepts I like) and turn off my IMs (mentally, maybe functionally will be a choice someday), and just watch the scenery go by. Forseti and I met inworld later (For and Tor!), to talk at a rather contrastingly brisk pace. And I got to meet Chester. Photo courtesy of For.
Chester fulfills another of my SL dreams. I keep a runabout list of all the wishes I hope to have granted here, and a deepsea angler fish of extravagant proportions was on it. Having crossed it off with a silly smile, I muse how long it'll be before Chester gets out of his native habitat and gets to travel the world like we avatars do.
