Quicker than Hermes on crack, Eric Skiff kindly sent me a new version of Clipmarks WordPress widget, as covered previously. It already includes some of the improvements I suggested — exciting to see this shape up!
Here's what I noticed @ latest:
- Kewl to see the Clipmarks logo in the widget title bar! However, eyeballing it and the RSS widget above, it looks like there's not enough horizontal space between graphic and text.
- Option to use a Background Image has been added, but where can I choose the color to the box borders? Perhaps this will be part of the upcoming CSS controls Eric tantalizingly let me know about!
image is pressed vertically right up to the last clip displayed. I believe it'd look bettter if there was more leading space, just like between the clips themselves. Also, the image looks a bit too low-contrast and fuzzy: hard to see at a small size.
Keep up the great work, Eric, and I really look forward to what comes next…
now, I gotta find more eclectic clips (eclecticlips?) to share!

[...] I've been developing a Wordpress widget for Clipmarks that allows you to add clips to the side of your blog. It's only my second wordpress plugin, so I figured it would be a bit rough around the edges and would benefit from some true beta testing. We invited the incredibly awesome Torley to be our first beta tester Thursday night, and not only did he test it out and give us great feedback, but he's also blogged about the tool and has done the legwork of installing an updated version of the beta just a day later! [...] Didn't we see this before? clipped from http://www.glitchnyc.comIs it just me, or is there an abnormally large number of great folks in the new web communities that have sprung up in the past few years? Maybe it’s the fact that most of the people I’m working with lately are into the idea of creating or participating in something great, rather than making a boatload of money, but I’ve met more than my fair share of kick-ass people this year.I’ve been developing a Wordpress widget for Clipmarks that allows you to add clips to the side of your blog.
