Crystal Cities
Posted on: February 16, 2007"It's a nice place to stay," she trailed off, pausing to leave her fingers on the gelled glass facing the rainbow sky refracting back through the cobalt spires.
"But do you think it's a nice place to live?" he asked, his value for her opinion present in the crisp tone of his voice.
"Maybe someday — but not yet." She sat down on the bed, looking out into the moistening hues of the clouds making way overhead, assembling themselves into vague congregations of non-shapes.
He sat down next to her, draped a hand gently around her shoulder, and looked into her eyes, almost as vivid as the spires themselves. Together, they held hands, looking into an endless night of possibilities.
She tilted her head gracefully, kneeling it into the bend of his neck, settling herself down on his left shoulder. He smiled with a curious wisdom, and lifted her to her feet, matching rings touching —
and then they would dance into the twilight of the Crystal Cities.

A couple months ago I was experimenting with alpha and hollow and nested objects… made interesting crystal building pieces. A lot of them were from your Glass-Nosed texture. Good Memories!

Storm, I woulda liked to see that! Got any in your inv or otherwise that you can show me? I really gravitate towards making crystals with transparency too, even if the Z-fighting can get ugly. Awhile ago, Francis Chung made a "Fran Rocks!" random rock maker script, which I repurposed for other types of shardy things.
