Dimi, OMGZ!!! I'm so happy you told me this story, because... I was gonna ask you! And here it is. WHAT A FREAKIN' GREAT STORY!

Some related, historical context: a long time ago, Damien Fate created a portable shopping device. It didn't display logos as prominently as your idea, but yeah, I green-and-pinked it. It doesn't look like it saw much more widespread usage, but it also reminds me of Bedouins or other nomads, or even those seedy dudes who open their big coats to show you wristwatches for $$$... but IN A GOOD WAY!!!

So yes, I'd give it a second look, and please let me know your progress! No worries about not seeing my comment either, there's *so* much to keep track of in the world, and I just am thankful you shared this with me, Dimi.

Awww thank you! I do love to dress creatively, and those colors are most definately one of my favorite combinations.

That bag has an amusing story behind it. It all began when a friend was complaining about the difficulty of promoting a business in Second Life (and this is something that I've become acutely aware of myself). I thought about the problem for a moment and said, why not make a tote bag with the business logo prominently displayed on the side? You can wear it wherever you go and it could have some useful scripted functions in it, like the ability to send promotional items to a name you select from a dialog menu. Or perhaps create a version for customers which has different utility features that encourage them to wear it all the time. It sounded like a good idea to me, so I made a bag and fitted it out in neon, then stashed it away in my inventory to finish later. Unfortunately a month has gone by and it hasn't progressed beyond that stage, yet. Time to give it a second look?

I'm sorry that I didn't spot your comment on slbuzz. It's not a site that I regularly check, but I will send you a bag right now along with a couple of other goodies!

Good luck with everything Torley. :)
