I got another monitor today. "What?" you may say, since I already got a new one recently. Actually, I acquired another of the same. Some will go, "What for?" This happens to be the joy of using dual monitors with a single computer. :-) Both are Samsung SyncMaster 204Bs, and altho the second has a bit of a white bleedthrough at the top and bottom, I think that'll go away after it gets some quality "burn in" time with Torley. I have them next to each other at a slight V angle.

I've said the good stuff before: fantastic contrast, almost-blinding brightness, rich colors and saturation (I just had to crank up the vividness with the NVIDIA control panel), and crisp, crisp text. Total resolution of 3200×1200, enough to stretch out my Google Desktop and have an ample berth for… lots of things.

Price dropped (how I wish I was within the window to take my first one back to the store and get a refund for the difference), and the twins are imaging happily away on my desk. Which means I can have a website on one screen and Second Life on the other—exactly the way it's meant to be.
