Early Stages

I was just going to utter the most absurd thing, and that is: I love being in SL so much that I'd do it as a job. Well, now you know some of the rest of the story.
I spent some time at SL.me.com, which I originally found out about through Jazmina Firefly. I filled out my superprofile. How me, eh? As Second Life grows, so are ways for Residents to connect with each other—on sites Residents have created! I hope to know more, so if you run such a site, please let me know so I can visit!
Ziggy Quirk made these totally awesome snuggle bears. I had a previous strawberry one given to me by Elphaba Gould, but these were just too much. Closeup on the melabel.
I hope to write more about what I'm doing, work-wise. Synchronity keeps striking, which is wonderful, because things are never boring. I was planting giant sunflowers by BamBam Sachertorte near an Infohub just 'cuz, and along comes a truck in the moonlight driven by Erik Pasternak, Dakind Pixel, and Paradise Popinjay. So a-truckin' we go through the fog (so thick you could cut it with a knife), until we reached a road that was not yet completed.
A gracious thankyou to Fearless Leader for the Stupamelon!
Lethe Naumova customized Seifert Surface's work to make a Darwinia Tree, and I just had to take it further.
Classic loading textures? Make mine one of these.
Ever notice that popular nightclub The Edge is now on its own island? It left Da Boom a few weeks ago where it'd been for a long time—it was certainly there in September 2004 at the start of my Second Life. No forum threads… shockingly! The only reaction I heard was from other Lindens, who were concerned at the time it was content loss. But I saw the day it packed up and headed for new volcanic ground.
If you've been over to a certain sweet spot at the core of Nova Albion, you may have noticed much upheaval going on. "Das Infohubbens!" provides more context, you'll surely want to read all the way through to see what's unfolded. We used to live in a world where we were tethered by teleport to Telehubs, and in doing so, became conditioned to fly away from them. Now in a world of direct TPing, we can go just about anywhere we want. In doing so, the vacant spaces left behind by Telehubs became Infohubs—and what's to come? A lot's left to color outside the lines.
This is here today. Salazar Jack, standing with me, is part of the team called the City Slickers, the local dwellers. He working on constructing the new Infohub. Unique in many ways, from the structured city organization to the prim doublage density, Nova Albion has a lot of enriched history, and it's my understanding there were curious onlookers today who came to check out the site and sights for themselves. Piece by piece, a new community centre will be put into place:
