TORBOT JL-2086 likes to hover above the Welcome Area and tootle a trail of neon green bubbles behind. After whirring and clicking at passerby and encouraging them to taste their food before eating it, I take a jaunty stroll southwards down the misinformation ultrahighway and glide southwards, where we have some sort of twin sandbox configuration in Morris now. Which is strange, because before, there used to be not so much of a fence and just — well, ask the Tyrell folks how miscreants would spill into the east side of their skyscrapers like so many locusts upon rye wheat. Now the boundaries are more clearly defined, yet not like Oz (the prison, not my friend).

Yesterday, I came across Lightwave Valkyrie. Very cool av with big red hair and green eyes, I saw an escape pod. She told me to ride it, so I did. We talked a bit about how this was like Lunar Lander of the C64 days, and then we shared how we both owned Amiga 500s as well. (Ah how I miss those demo scene days.) Well, I wanted an escape pod of my own, so I promptly headed to AFantasy Emporium - Skegemog (48, 41)?and got one for the nice price of L$100, considering how well-modelled it is. At first I was under the false impression this store was improperly selling copies of stuff that had perms broken or somethin' — how foolish of me! — but the truth is you're buying original items. SexyEyes Valkyrie, wife of Lightwave, has just arranged this extremely well as you can see, with multiple floors with vehicles and stuff out back. Really nice shopping experience for "second-hand" goods.

So then I needed to do a little escaping. I headed to Iris telehub and tried to rez the pod there, but unfortunately, NOBUILD. Ack. Went southwest a lil', and then stopped on the beach. You remember that scene from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind when Jim Carrey's on the beach, and then another when him and Winona are on the beach and they're like wawawaa and the music is getting all blurry and distant and there are surreal jumpcuts representing the fragmented interlocution of one's memory and such.?WELL THEN. That's how I felt.

Here's a shout-out to Anna Ramona. Thanks for being fun at Zermatt a few days ago. "Goodies!"?
