Gosh I'm so stoned. I don't mean that like in a narcotic fashion, but like I got clobbered over the head with rocks, literally. Maybe I will eat something and feel better. I wish I had more cookies, life could use more cookies. CC cookies+fruitpunch=superbosity! Here I come, staggering like a drunken boxer…
I'M HERE TO TALK ABOUT THE GENIUS OF WHEEL FIZZ. I've only met him inworld like, uh, once, and he was more of an it, a pixelconstruct of jaggedly pleasant proportions. I met him at the Relay For Life, around that area, and then yesterday, on my travelogues, I went to The Port. DID I EVER! Wheel Fizz is a genius because he is a warm computer style maker. I spent my time running from work to work of his, groping each one virtually. And I really felt it!
WHEEL FIZZ IS A GENIUS. I cannot argue with someone responsible for the following?read the Snapzilla captions after you click on each scintillatingly stunning image for additional eprops:
Make sure to turn on local lighting, or it will still look good but flat.
Wheel's not only oldskool 8-bit alias, he bringz back tha "returning '02" vibe of SL and punches the button on his cosmic caffe maker, spewing out liquid lattes of latent longevity. He has brung back the "early creators" goodness and punched a hole in the roof of dumbass apathy. You will want to hug him. If you've ever stood on a giant chessboard staring up at the comets and asteroids, scroll in hand, chanting some damn incantation that is both a lamentation and a rock ballad to the freakin' elder gods, YOU WILL HUG HIM EVEN MORE.
Remember the other day when I was talking about a HackNet in SL? The architecture of this is something like what I had in mind, and I want more of it. The scaffolding and layers, sort of like the networked database of a power-intensive, computronic storage system. There's also a theatre, what looks like a parking garage, white tigers, and more!
Okeydoke. Here's the rule: if you found this appealing, and you're in Second Life (and if not join for free!), please, go visit The Port, check out all the great schtuff there, and IM the creators if you like their artistry. It'll be appreciated and be like rocket fuel, because I know you have every right to express your enthusiasm.
Thankee.
