Dalian Hansen (AKA Li Song) graciously let me know he used one of my solo piano pieces to accompany the promo video for his new photography book, Everyday Dalian: Life in Modern Manchuria. I'm especially fond of how the slide transitions almost sync to the chords. Lots of beautiful imagery, that's for sure — while I haven't been to Manchuria, some of the stills remind me of when I was in other parts of China, and the stories my Dad told me growing up.
