Miss K graciously brought this to my attention. I'm a sucker for eclectic fun… my turn!
1. I used to write horror fiction
Some — OK, just about everyone reading this — may find that hard to believe, but under the nom de plume of "James Fletcher", I penned some pretty grisly works. I even sent an idea to a book publisher about writing horror for the teenage market, but it was rejected. That was a few months before R.L. Stine books began hitting it big.
2. I once gambled voraciously
… in Second Life. Call it luck, call it scripting in my favor, but a lot of my early L$ came from playing whack-a-mole, chair fighting, and roulette at a certain well-known theme park, to the point where the proprietor yoinked the wheel. It didn't return, and neither did I. But I did start working at Linden Lab to curb my habit. My rationale? Gambling on the job gets you fired. It worked.
3. I "raved" with Ishkur at a club night feat. Richie Hawtin
Truely, a glorious night for Canadian techno. I didn't realize it was Ishkur until I saw a photo of him months later; I realized he lived in the area but up to that point, the most I knew of him was enjoying his Guide to Electronic Music and making many, many forum posts critiquing all manner of production, technique, and subsequent consumption. To this day, I don't think he knows it was me, either.
4. I can twist my wrists 360°
If I put 'em on a flat surface, I can turn 'em around… and around… and… see?
5. My favorite color is cobalt-to-turquoise blue
"But what about pink and green?" you might be asking. Well, that's my fave color scheme. But by itself, I love deep blues, which is why Torley Jr. has had blue eyes for so long! Coincidence? Of course not, it's totally intentional. What better way to place a hint than to have it look you… right in the eye?
I don't know who I wanna infect with this meme next, but if you wanna play this game, lemme know!

Hey Torley,
I'd love to read some of your horror fiction. You've got me curious. I'm a big Stephen King fan.
Grizzy
Grizzy, thanx for your interest! I too, am a big Stephen King fan. Infact, one part I didn't mention earlier, was the first SK book I ever read was The Dark Half with its themes of duality. Ever since then, I've been hooked!
I don't readily have any of my horror fiction I can copy-or-paste, or even find on paper (save some odd looseleaf ideas, which aren't so much about horror as creativity in general). If I do locate some, tho, I'll surely post it — esp. with you in mind since you asked! =)
Oh I am SO doing that meme!
