Flock Photo Uploading

Posted on: September 30, 2006

I use Firefox as my primary browser but I've been using Flock, dubbed a "social web browser", for a specialized purpose. I use just used it to upload a bunch o' piccies to Photobucket because Photobucket's own webform doesn't support big batches and I dislike redundant, repetitive motions (e.g., click "Upload" button, search for file, double-click it ot be added, rinse repeat ad nauseum).

Apart from that, I don't yet know how Flock could benefit me. It seems pretty slick.

I use Photobucket because it doesn't require images to be linked-through back to Flickr. Sometimes this is useful for simple web elements and other bits 'n' beebs.

All of this comes 'cuz my hand is forced to realize how little spare time I have nowadays. Whenever I'm on my Torley Linden account in Second Life, it's pretty much for work purposes. I used to IM and explore all day long, but hardly anymore due to all the issues I'm catching up on each day. Focus, dynamics have changed — I'm excited but anxious too. Sharing my feelings may help some if you're wondering what's been happening.

I still need to set asides each day for "special meat". :)
