friendly greetings, my allies in the happiness commonwealth!

i'm still here.

this day finds me blogging via my quasi-trusty laptop while i wait for the rest of my stuff (AKA "personal effects") to arrive. what happened? i'm moving house. *waves*

my lovely wife JennifeRavenelle — the half of Torav which completes me — is upstairs. she's working. it's very cool (literally, temperature-wise) in the basement, and i'm awaiting my gear so i can resume my own professional development.

speaking of, i may not do a Second Life Tip of the Week this week if my stuff's late, so please pardon me in advance, and letting you know… i promise to make more for your enjoyment. :)

i am amazed at how much can be done across great distances. this, i've learned through my rewarding experiences with such esteemed coworkers @ Linden Lab around the world. i look forward to keep being productive.

(yes, the title of this post is a Photek reference. while F&F 2 wasn't as startingly fresh as the 1st volume, the beats are still goldmines.)

without question, one of the awesomest parts of my life is being able to take a few steps upstairs, embrace, and kiss my beloved. she's my snugglecat. yes, i'm crazy about terms of endearment. if you're reading this Ravie… hello, I love you (not just "hey").

it's often very difficult for me to focus on anything because i'm chock-full of ideas in my head; it's like a reservoir that keeps filling up, and i have to flush it out by writing my ideas down or putting them into action. so right now, i'm itching to be creative and collaborate more with my honey. what's inspiring you today? what gets you moving?

i've decided that while one can fall in love, it sounds more uplifting to rise in love… so there you have it, I've risen in LOVE OMG here she comes

    Congrats of the move,

    Maybe we'll meet again soon. was trying last Monday but then didn’t know you didn’t have your gear (I know the pain it is and last time I moved it was les then 1000 feet and first thing on the day after the move was setting up the internet gear).

    Still remember the first meeting with you in “lemon yellow” (the Dune sim). You where complimenting on my ship when the sim went Poof.

    Anyhow cant wait what you have to say on lag reduction :)

    @Smiley: My new home is better from the offset because I'm with JenRav! Can't get better, love-wise, than that. :)

    @Pompo: I was having some fun with formatting because I was posting to my blog from the built-in WordPress editor, not Windows Live Writer (which I normally use). So, just me mixin' things up!

    @Fish: Aw, thanks! What were you trying last Monday? If you can make it to my Office Hours in Grasmere @ 6 AM & 2 PM PDT on Fridays, I'd like to see you again!
