My indubitably wonderfulicious Rav and I had a fun night out at the September Take5 Machinima Festival yesterday. I was lucky to participate because Alt-Zoom's Community Manager, moo Money, graciously approached me about a certain video starring watermelon submarines. Thx Baba for the bloggage. Shortly after, moo declared the festival "A Success!" + more info.

So many enjoyable moments, the audience banter was comedic. We're seeing an increasing amount of machinimatic talent inworld, and I can't wait until we get the SL equivalent of a Coldcut and/or Hexstatic. They'll do their own thing, natch (but points of reference make it easier for people to understand what you're talking about).

My only regret is I didn't pre-optimize my film for streaming, so it took a long time to load. The audience sounded like they enjoyed what must be the most consumable take on Das Boot ever, tho — RUR RUR RUR!
