Good customer service is important and stuff

First things first — I've decided to give up my dream of becoming a Jedi Knight in SL because?I have come to terms with accepting that there is only one sun in SL. This is somewhat disappointing, because I can never really fully recreate the whole Tatooine experience. I don't close off the whole future tho, and hey, there's still lots to do in SL, like find out what good customer service is firsthand.
I've got to mention a place, a nice nook that has lotsa Japanese & Asian decor… it's owned by Emerald Greenstein, bless her… what happened was I came by here, this place in Manitoba (195, 185) , 'cuz I was digging deep into Find Places and saw?a big nice picture that had a loud FREE STUFF sign set atop a background of some idyllic mountain range (it's just next door at Manitoba (151, 176) ). So when I went, I was like, OK, this area is pretty cool itself, neatly organized into twisty columns and "I should tell new residents about this place too, wheee!" but as I explored more, it dawned on me how much stuff Emerald had made and stocked here. And even moreso, the GREAT, very newbie-friendly prices — L$250 for a whole dozen-piece living room set, very sweet deal there.
Speaking of that set, first time I tried to buy it, something screwed up. Major lag in the system, I didn't see the item in my Inv, and I tried to do some test searches in Find…… nothing came up for like 30 seconds, prolly more. So I was like "DANG!" and bought the set twice more. Each of those times, it delivered right, but I was out L$250 and had an extra set. To compound things, I bought a kimono there but it somehow fell off the wall and I thought I got the display model by mistake. So I fired off an email to Emerald and sent in the kimono (thinking she'd want it) and just went along my merry way…
Next day, Emerald IMs me, tells me the kimono is mine to keep because that's the last one she has, so I'm all jolly by this point, and then she already refunds me the L$250, not a big amount but the principle here is the meat, and we chat a bit and I express my thanks at how quick-'n'-friendly she was to do this. So I get jollier, and keep the extra furni set because who knows? And besides, I like supporting nice people. So YAYZERAMA!!! to the store she's put together with Asian-themed furni, rugs, clothes, houses, and even those little log things that make relaxing thunk sounds as water drips down. There's a little red book as history tragically remembers too.?Pretty zen, I'm at peace with the yahoos and the yinyangs, etc.
Well, that's my happy customer service story for today. Thank you graciously Emerald!

P.S. If you've experienced the bug I've just described where you buy something but don't receive it in inventory and you may likely notice lag when doing so, please drop me a line after filing a Bug Report from the Help menu?and share your experiences because I'm very interested in helping repro this so it can be fixed for all the shoppers of SL.
