[VIDEO] GrandVJ & grand opera

I've been learning the ins & outs of ScreenFlow. It's pretty elegant, save some bugs I've been reporting to the makers. For example, my Zoom H4n is demonstrating great audio quality, but there's something between it and ScreenFlow which delays recording — as a result, I have to leave an extra few seconds of dead space before actually speaking. I suspect it's something to do with ScreenFlow as this doesn't happen with Jing Pro, Audacity, etc.

Understanding limitations is always part of effectively learning a tool. Now, I enjoy downloading demos of various apps and seeing what I can get out of them. Behold a couple quick vids I did with GrandVJ, in an ongoing adventure to better visualize the music I play. It's not up there with Scott Pagano and Processing geeks (geniuses!), but it's fun.

And now, a spectrum moves to my piano playing. It's a familiar tune from opera classics.

I'm getting a better feel, note-by-note.
