Grim Babies rock bigtime, and not just 'cuz I'm one :p

2006-12-12

I love the timing on this — Grim Misfit recently sent me my very own Grim Babie, recognizably… meeee!

Even in a 2D snapshot, the actual 3D creation has more depth.

Wait, it gets even better. Check this snippet out from the notecard:

::Grim Babies:: Torley

Anyone that knows Torley, loves her, maybe a little to much. One of Torleys biggest fans cloned Torleys pixels late one night, (a cross breeding between a Linden and a watermallon seed.) And now we at ::Grim Babies:: ended up with a Torley Linden clone. We sat down late that night looking at our newest adition, what does one do with a Linden clone? While we sat there staring… she said her first words "clear cache and restart", then we knew what to do with this babie…. we attached our huds, and played a round of red meter mania.

::Caring for Torley::
Shes really and easy babie to care for. Don't touch her mellon! Thats not a hat! Those arnt socks! STOP LICKING THAT BABIE! She isnt edible.

This had me bawling in laughter. You know what's so damn funny too? The fact I just wrote "How do I clear the Second Life cache?" for the Knowledge Base today.

Anyway, I'm far from the only Grim Babie. I'm honored to be part of a MUCH BIGGER FAMILY… good gosh, the factory has all varieties! Just look at the walls, they're packed. At this rate, there may be more than Pokemon soon. :)

Context: PXP's interview with Grim Misfit. you may have heard of "prim babies", which are popular for inworld parents to give birth to. Grim Babies plays with, uh, molests this idea and takes it for a ride on the wild side. I love riffing on SL tropes, so you can imagine why this appeals to me so much.
