Here is flooded
Posted on: August 27, 2008In other news today, Here island in the wonderful world of Second Life was flooded, landmasses swept into the pixelsea and a floating island detaching itself from a craggy peak to rest in the air, defiantly thumbing gravity.
8-bit ultrastar Megaman and voice of Unicron, Orson Welles, were spotted on-scene, getting habituated to their new surroundings.
Glimpses of a feminine form with a chibi cat head and oversized ribbon could be spotted. Eyewitnesses noticed she traipsed with an orbular stick in hand, calling forth enhancements and suggesting she might be (partially) responsible.
Elsewhere amidst the chaos, the all-too-familiar sound of guh-gluh-guhhhh wet luggage could be heard, carrying with it the dreams of a promising future, much as silent films had given way to "talkies"…
One sign declaring
"Do you get the points when others miss them?"
quickly submerged, but may be guest-appearing/cameo'ing later.
Keep your eyes peeled like an orange-watermelon hybrid.
What happens next unravels Here… only in Second Life.

Torley, when I now try to open http://torley.com/custom-collision-sounds-video-tip-of-the-week-48 , it redirects me to your demoSLene video on YouTube, there titled "watch cat heads roll". Since you mentioned chibi cat head in this post, I was wondering if the two events somehow are related?

@Daed: Crap! I messed up a redirect after the Disqus scroo-up! Thanks for calling that out, fixed now.
@Dante: No! It has to do with my WIFE! She is the cat-head girl, who redecorates Here!
