It seems that I've heard about this a long, long time ago. I'm glad to see it coming to life. Thanks for the vid!

    Ha! Pikashoes. :D

  3. Kevin Says:

*sigh* Flickr videos still don't work for me. "Playback of this video failed."

  4. Sahoni Tigerpaw Says:

I love the mouselook for your adventure… I want to see more!
    aloha

Wow, that's prelly cool. I don't think I've ever noticed - or bothered to look for - my shadow before. I'm going to capitalize on this effect for some experimental SL photography this weekend, I think.

Looks like good news for SL citizens unless someone's avatar is the mythical groundhog (oh no, 6 more weeks of Mono beta! J/k.) =P

@Dedric: Some Resident viewers have the shadow code too, so if you have a supported graphics card (currently only guaranteed to work on upper GeForce 8xxx) you can see it. But indeed, it's like.

@Kevin: Aw that sux! Can you view YouTube videos fine? Let me know what format works best for you, I've had problems uploading vids to Flickr.

@Sahoni: Yeah, mouselook can be so intimate.

@Ghosty: Best of hope with it! As mentioned, you'll need an experimental viewer that supports shadows. While I can't distro the internal Linden one, there are some Resident viewers like http://kirstenleecinquetti.blogspot.com/ worth looking into.

@Al: Ha, not good news for vampires either. Oh wait, that's mirrors!

    Hehehe, good Torley…
