I Sent a Smile :), But Got Nothing Back in Return :(

Sleep is invigorating, let me tell that to anyone who hasn't done it! (And don't knock it unless you've tried it.)

I added a "My inSLight" sidebar to the lefthand gutter of my blog. It's fresh and experimental and hopefully gonna keep track of some thoughtlines that keep chugging and sloshing to the forefront of my mind. A particular challenge is going to be metarizing the info: not only do I write in my blog, but I contribute to SLog and the SL Forums and also leave the occasional extended comment on a related website.

All of this evolved so organically. I'm a crazy person, that's already been established?now what must be done is bottling up some of that energy and refocusing it towards the right direction, or directions, as the case may be. Putting the craziness to good use.

This is a latter-day version of what was mottled out last year: I'm far from home, or what I knew as home. I have a lot of beliefs I cling on to, but they're falling out of my arms like hunks of space rock from a meteor shower. I'm in a strange new land; there are some familiar customs, but there's also a lot to learn?and even relearn.

Maybe it's like being in a relationship for a long time where you get comfortable?oot comfy?and things get complacent. Risque adventure turns into a type of everyday homesteading, and as stable as things get, you want more. Spock once said:

"After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing, after all, as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true."

And that's why, in the Torleyverse, it's like one big cereal box being constantly shaken, contents never settling, with new prizes at the bottom to be found. Sometimes you get extra treats in the mix too: marshmallowy three-humped hearts, meal replacement chews, and if you really hit the jackpot, watermelons!
