I'm really happy Joi Ito, another of my favorite visionaries, has started his Second Life! The man strikes me as a gentle genius, a real role model to look up to, and also, so very approachable and human. I've enjoyed his blog and outlook on Internet, life, and beyond?going into SL!?for some time now. There are things he writes about where I go, "I don't understand this, but I want to."

Joi is the pragmatic equivalent to mowing the grass with a silent lawnmower that gives off no heat, has lots of energy, and holding lemonade in your left hand. The sun actually has a happy face on it, the birds are animated and rather plump, and trees not only sway, but breakdance in the breeze. So, I hope he will spend (at least) as much time in this magical Lindenland as he has in World of Warcraft, and hope he enjoys living his Second Life.
