Kewlest Federal Reserve Bank evar?

Not too long ago, Melita V. Podesta, Project Coordinator for New England Economic Adventure at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, told me she was doing a video game exhibit. I suppose most people would've wondered how the two go together, but not me — I'm impervious that way. :)

She got pictures from myself and some other denizens of Second Life, and if you look closely, yup, thanks watermelon colors and some WindLight shots. I think it rocks, and just wish I could read the angled little black plaque on the left.

I know, I know, Second Life isn't a "game", but at the end of the day, words fall away, and as long as you're having fun, that's what counts. Here are some other shots from the exhibit, thanx Melita!

Oh, that looks like a great exhibition! I wonder if people could play the arcade machines too :P

Absolutely you can play the arcade games! I never played Ms. Pac-Man "in the day" but I'm getting pretty good now!

@melita: Thanks so much again for the pics! Let me know if any future info about this project and I'd be happy to link to it.

This 'changing exhibit' at the Boston Fed is available as part of our economic education programs that we make available to school groups and community organizations who would like to learn about the Federal Reserve System, Monetary Policy and New England economic growth. We are very excited about this exhibit and the stories we can tell about technology and its potential to advance teaching and learning.

@Scott: I think this is a great way to educate, very memorable for sure! And Scott Guild's name here is also a link to the FRBB: Education Resources page, I noticed. =)

I would sooo love something like that to happen here. I remember those days…I'm not sure the kids would like them too much, lol
