Boy you are having fun with Autostitch! :-)

I didn't even think of using it on SL photos. What a great idea! Have you experimented with zooming in and zooming out to see if you can minimise the wide-angled lens effect to get a more even panarama?

Not there is anything wrong with doing it the other way for artistic purposes, but if you got it looking realistic you could then create those wrap-around VR panaramas inside a cylinder. Then you'd be inside Second Life inside Second Life!

Hehe Sean! It is tons of fun! Pretty much any toys + tools I get my hands on, I use 'em with SL! Sounds like you're experienced with AutoStitch(TM) (haha I keep spelling it that way) before?

What I did here was stand close to Ravenelle and take pictures in a circle in Mouselook. I did several rotations to overlap focus areas. Zooming out would distort it even more, wouldn't it? I did Zoom In for a portion of this, which is why there are two Ravies.

(I wonder what kind of results I'd get strafing in Mouselook.)

On the realistic tip, has been done well before — not sure what tools they used, but Panogames has some pretty pictures.
