Make your own motivational poster
Posted on: March 3, 2007I found this Parody Motivator Generator, which appears to be a variant of this Flickr toy, but it doesn't have to be used for despair-ish purposes. Like a magnifying glass, you can focus it on the light. Here's what I came up with:
Awwwwe. <3
(Nice move on their part including the classic NES font!)

Very nice.
Sunbeams are made of win. The NES font is also a nice touch.
That sunrise was so awesomesauce, it knocked a certain couple over!! :O
Riffing off the 'sunrise' theme, with a wholly more crass bent, here's "Sunrise, Sunset" by Koyabu Kazutoyo and Masaki Sumitani, aka Razor Ramon aka Hard Gay. Content warning: PG-13 or so, repeated humorous reference to male genitalia, Hard Gay's signature pelvic thrusting. http://youtube.com/watch?v=fUdYCM5QwGU

@Elix: There was some serendipity here, because I didn't expect the Luce filter, which Dimitrio Lewis told me about, to have such a beautiful effect on the trees. Aside from that, Filter Forge continues to be a king in my toolbox. I went with the NES font because the other defaults I found didn't match actual motivational posters, and kerning was off. "Wholly more crass bent" is a hilarious phrase.
@Ravie: It's ussss. *yay hands*

Wow…. I am not a big fan of the sun… and thats the worst sun to me… Its bright and yellow… or orange… But its that kind of sun that makes me go insane… sota..
But I love the font…
Maybe you should have used the moon…
Nice and dark…
But good work.

@Scott: Thx for taking the time to share your opinion! Do you have links to photos of suns you like? I've done some moon shots too.
