I've got a new friend clinging to my hip: Safety Bear, made by the evercreative AngryBeth Shortbread! Angry's got an awesome blog header featuring her mechanical flying whale—and her blog itself is quite a catch too. :) 

 
Safety Bear can get pretty conversational, and if I don't take a break to ease my hands soon, according to the documentation, he'll start spamming me with text messages which everyone in my immediate vicinity will hear too, adding to the cumulatively righteous shame!

Other Angry highlights include finding out your avatar's DNA, and leading towards the retroactively holy grail of collaboration, an inworld interactive whiteboard. Since humans have carved on clay tablets, doodling doesn't get old.
