New Year's resolutions already?
Posted on: December 25, 2006(It doesn't hurt to think ahead!)
I hope you're having a jolly Xmas day. I sure am! I also figured I'd get a head start on something I've put off for too long, and new self-bio (some call it an autobio, but heck, it didn't write itself!). The old, wordier one can still be found here.
One nicetie you'll notice as you roam through my blog: the "Who am I?" image rotates randomly through a series, mostly from different stages of my Second Life — that's Sept. 2004-present, for those of you keeping track. Nearing the year's end, I felt this was a particularly effective way to be nostalgic and productive at the same time. I'm using a subset of this selection.
I was able to do this thanx to the WordPress AdRotator plugin, which is Widgetized and can be used straightforwardly like the default Text Widget, but with a twist: split snippets with the <!–more–> tag and a random chunk will be loaded upon each page refresh. It's not just for ads — the content's up to you! (I may wanna put in some poetry, or quotes.)

The above comment was meant for the "Guide to Torleys" post but somehow ended up here instead. Weirdness.

Grizzy, I've been noticing odd problems where comments intended for one entry appear on another. How very, very strange. I wonder if it had anything to do with me editing "A guide to Torleys" to include Torse (I left him out the first time!) at the same time you were writing.
