No Life? Second Life!

All attribution and credits to Hugh MacLeod via this post, of course. I originally saw this on popurls and couldn't believe the Hugh MacLeod actually did a strip on Second Life!

I reckon that's another sign we've gotten big. Or something.

I love how happy the "Second Life!" guy looks.

    I like seeing happy faces on secondlifers. Seems rarer and rarer these days.

    Hahaha.

    Interestingly, depending where you go, the "mood" is very different. When I spend more time inworld (like today), I see a lot more happy faces, as opposed to negative redundancy on more asynchronous, not-so-personal media.

    I'm not saying avatar-to-avatar communication is the end-all, but I've been so many instances in which someone was way friendlier to me inworld than on a website.
