of my head, that is. I often get yearnings to toss collected notions from a day into a yummy stew and discuss the connections I see within. This is not random.

"Aposiopesis" is a choice word. It certainly answers my earlier question, "What do you call it when someone goes 'Why you little — !'?"

Enthralled to discover Lifehacker has their own line of software coded by Senior Editor Adam Pash. Maybe not the most obvious of the fantastico productivity onslaught on their site, but kudos to the LH Team for being so relentless in providing a useful public service. Their utility recommendations have ended up saving me hours, if not days of time.

One of my fave actors, John De Lancie, likes Second Life:

What interests me is less of its gaming capabilities and more that they are using a version of that technology to get people to, say, relax when they're afraid to fly…

Those kind of stories continue to go underreported in the press; wonder why, it can't be because they're not about money, because the self-help, pharmaceutical, medical, etc. industries reap billion$ yearly.

Chiune and Yukiko Sugihara are the Japanese Oskar Schindlers. The article makes no mention of Schindler, which is alright, but I couldn't help but make the comparison. Of the 3 times I've seen Schindler's List, it's always coincided with some girls in the room crying and needing to leave. So then I wonder how long it'll be until machinima provokes such emotions? And no, it doesn't have to realistic: lots of people wept when Bambi's mother died.

At my inworld office hour today, Ina Centaur came by to tell me about sLiterary magazine. What I find appealing here is, hey, it's all fiction about Second Life. This isn't really territory treaded on, and I incidentally happen to be writing short snippets from an Alternate Virtual Reality. Reckon I'll do a Raul Bloodworth and submit a piece, and some artwork too.

NIPSA dead? After Heather @ Flickr helped me some weeks back, their official blog sez "Introducing Filters". Lively discussion happening in the Second Life Flickr group. Sweet, look what Second Wolf did:
