Thank you for making a link back to your Flicker set on being a Newbie. It brought back some lost memories. I was so anxious to explore Second Life, I neglected to stop and smell the roses– or to photograph the experience.

@Seraphine: Thankya! I often go to newcomer areas, and wish I could see eyes opening wide with amazement (or initial bafflement like "Whoa I'm in the Matrix!", understandable). Awhile back I did a Flickr set on the old OI when it got very full... I'm now thinking to turn some like that (but on the current OI) into paintings and suches.

I love the artsy thing. Orientation Island never looked so good to me. I avoid noob places completely.
