Photography tips 'n' tricks @ the Wiki's Help:Snapshots

Posted on: April 28, 2007

Did you know that in the first quarter of 2007, more postcards were sent from Second Life than in all of 2006? Truth!

Capturing moments from your Second Life is a lovely way to treasure your experiences and share them with your fellow Residents — and improving your skills will make you feel even better.

If you're curious about or already enjoy Second Life snapshot-taking + postcard-sending, you'll want to see the Wiki's Help:Snapshots page. I've gotten the lights flashing, compiling a list of resources I've personally found useful over the years. Consistent with SL's pride as a user content-created world, please feel free to add your tips 'n' tricks to this page.

Any Resident can improve the SL Wiki; see our editing guidelines and learn wiki editing to get started. Have phun!

Thanks Torley, it's these things that make the user experience so much easier. The wiki, the video tuts, every little thing makes it easier to use Second Life, even if it is something as intuitive as the Appearance menu, having it explained makes you familiar with the feature and whenever you face a problem, you remember having it seen in the video, or you know what causes it and so you can solve it.

@Daedalus: You're welcome, and all these came out of necessities through experience. Precise reason why I started them up was just that, I noticed lumpy spots in Second Life and help makes it a smoother ride. :)
