The web is inundated with otherwise-helpful articles — especially numbered lists of stuff — that are a cumbersome chore to read because they're sliced into many little parts. Yeah, you know the ones. As a result, instead of simply scrolling down the page, you have to keep clicking "Next" buttons, waiting for the page to refresh. Which is a pretty lousy experience (but I guess it's good for advertisers, which is why you're subjected to this).
Little-known-and-easy tip: look for the "Print" link on the page and click on that to read the article in its entirety. For example, compare "22 Items You need in Your Cleaning Kit":
Note that sometimes, clicking "Print" will instead prompt you to print the article with no intermediary (e.g., this article). Still, for the times it does work, like many of PCMag's articles (compare 4-part to single-page) it's well worth-it. And often, since the "Print" versions are sparse on ads, they're a less cluttered read, too.
Don't put up with crap, save time (and potentially bandwidth) by doing this!
