It would be great if we could apply textures to cubes as the watermelon is in that photo. Now the tops and bottoms of cubes don't align on two sides. Though I suppose sculpted prims are the answer there too, if I've seen it correctly on the video.
@Daedalus: I haven't played with scultiprims in 1.6 (on Beta Test Grid now) yet, but I'm hoping what you describe works as intended, because I really do want to make a cubed watermelon in Second Life!
