Good lord, so my bro showed me this cute, LOLarious site — Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. Based on the longtime mascot of the Dragon Quest/Warrior series of RPGs. Way back when I subscribed to Nintendo Power, I got a free Dragon Warrior game AND nice maps. I especially remember one fold-out showing stats of just about all the enemies, except for the Dragon Lord, who was obscured for dramatic purposes. And my bro and I would come up with all manner of slime variations. We knew they'd be big, and now, they have their own game.

(Altho we'd soon become Final Fantasy series converts, in a fitting display of full-circleism, Square and Enix later merged, and the rest is history.)
Heck, what's really nice here is the Slimeblog — hahaha I totally can't keep a straight face with that. Truman B. Fitzgerald's the writer and I'm not quite sure what he does for the company, oh wait, now I know. He can sure write well. Candid, personal, punches the product forth. Great company blogging, and even tho it appears to be a single-author blog, he has some interviews with coworks.
And all this for a game I haven't even played yet. I know what I admire.
