On rare occasion, I catch squirrels chipmunks (thanx Moxie and Jeff, wouldn't wanna mistake the two, one of them might bite me for it!). Context is as follows: I'm happily chugging along during the workweek, then I hear high-pitched squeaking. Turning my head usually reveals a brief blur of motion. I know it, there's a wild squirrel chipmunk in my house! I'll let them scamper around for a day or two, because they usually get noticeably tired after using their energy. Then, I'll put my hand in an inversed Ziploc bag, crouch, and gently grab the squirrel chipmunk on the ground.
This one's named Little Miss Flamboyant and shortly after this piccie was taken, she was returned to sprawling nature. I found her in the bathroom, where it's fortunate she didn't drown in the toilet, sink, or bathtub. I wish her well, but I know it won't be long until I have another visitor…

Heh…we get squirrels showing up on the patio all the time. Sometimes Maui, one of the cats, sees them through the glass door there…and runs away; he's afraid of them! Silly boy!
I believe that's a Chipmunk.
That's a chipmunk. Funny thing is on Maui (and all Hawaiian Islands) there are no squirrels or chipmunks. LoL
AWWWWW I stand corrected, thanks Moxie and Jeff, lemme make the edits…
@Erbo: I wonder why he's so scared, they're soooo cute.
My, how cute… usually those critters move fast! I'll have to drop you an SL squirrel, I don't have chipmunks (they're borderline too small to model realistically in SL) but at least this tree rodent can be placed *outside* the house where he'll remain. Maybe.
Aww yes, I've seen the SL squirrels. Gathering nuts
It's cute.
@Cloud: TOO CUTE! I got it. For anyone wondering what it looks like… http://www.flickr.com/photos/torley/685226374/ thank you graciously, Cloud.
