Sunday
Posted on: September 1, 2005It feels like a Sunday, but it isn't. I wonder if my narcolepsy is coming back?I don't recall falling asleep, be it gradually or suddenly,?but I found myself waking up in my bed. And then I climbed onto the SL Forums… what a wash. Just gotta let the tide come over.
Went browsing, got nostalgic looking at this Lego timeline. I used to play with Legos all day, I had a suitcase full of bricks. Now it sits in a closet, abandoned. My brother and I treated the translucent blocks as "rare pieces", until we found out later that just about every kit (and Lego is rather expensive) came with 'em. So many variations of blocks over the years.
I've felt the sound of thunder outside, but it's not raining today. It was, very much so, yesterday though. Weather is weird in the world. Famous musicians are missing.?Doesn't Trent Reznor live in New Orleans?
My eyes have been caught lately by ancient Chinese literature, and related, multiplayer games online there that have millions, even tens of millions of players but are seldom heard of on "western" shores. An example is Westward Journey, which may make particle question marks pop out of the tops of heads here but is severely popular in China. Heck, it is a Chinese game with a Chinese atmosphere and a Chinese trailer with Chinese music!?There's a lot of tastes out there being catered to?and haven't been catered to yet?and as long as we have flowers blossoming like NCsoft, we'll be in good hands.
