Historical appreciation is underrated in Second Life. Or rather, people who want to learn can't find where to do it. At every opportunity I get, I'm pointing Resis to the Second Life History Wiki. It's not official, and it's gemful. Heck, I've already declared the Release Notes format in the forums to be crap, and just link to the SL History Wiki's Release Notes page now.

It's like that oldish-new prog house trick where every four bars, you use a different effects processing method—this was the transition mid point. BTW, the Did You Know part is nice too; some of my fave trivia is on there!

And of course, since it's a wiki, if you spot errors, correct them. :)

If you sent me an Instant Message inworld and didn't receive a reply, as my profile says, please send me an email. The reasons are numerous: 1) you can write so much more, 2) you can write a descriptive subject line, 3) it won't get capped off like IMs do, 3) I sometimes crash frequently and may not see what you said, 4) I get many IMs that scroll off the edges of the screen which I don't reply to when I'm working directly around me in SL ("localized"), and 5) I can easier find an email and reply to it when I'm able.

I don't wish to miss out on your dear communication, and get terribly distracted. SO much can come up in a day!
