The sun sets on Aspergia?!

Posted on: July 2, 2004
Ah, a sad day?– extremely distressing to some, even –?as popular online community Aspergia.com is shutting down. The main man Edan announced the news today, and I know I'll be sad because I conglomerated there a lot. Life's got changes and this is a biggie for many, an odd sort of virtual diaspora if you will. Well I know I'll be scoping out where everyone else is hanging out, and I hope at least the contents of the site are archived and preserved for posterity because of the wealth of wisdom there. I learned a lot, I know I damn well did. I'm thankful I had these repeated opportunities to help out too.

I'm in the process of reading Stephen King's Danse Macabre right now. I've been a longtime fan of horror stuff (i.e. Hellraiser, Scream and Scary Movie ;), the upcoming SAW?) and it's got a lot of insight. Of course it has to, it's Stephen King for crying out loud (O'Neillism). Also heard that Donald Trump's going to launch a new magazine called Trump World — that gets me excited.
?
What else excites me? The new John B album, In Transit, that's what. The?chap has a blog of his own. I've got to say, more often than not the fun gets sucked flaccidly out?of?Electronic Dance Music and?here, it gets pumped back in — in copious amounts,?mind you. Trance 'n' bass is one of those mongrels that I truly want to cuddle and pet after sooo many tracks I can't even tell the difference between (maybe I'm just going more jaded technosnob, or *meh*).

Congratulations to my "baby" brother for being able to network himself… I am very proud of you. Keep on accomplishing.
