The Tao of Tao
Posted on: April 15, 2006Historically, my blog entries tend to be compilations of a whole day's (or in some cases, several days's) adventures and experiences. I think I'd like to be more agile and mix that up with some terser schtuff, especially since my wrists are still hurty.
Tao Takashi is a Resident whose hairstyle I admired at the recent meeting 'bout SL last names. How can you go wrong with something like this? You can't.
(Not to mention, I was a former TT myself!)
Tao encouraged me to check out his video blog inworld @ Jeon (134, 110, 86), and he's just got this fabulous setup with a lot of style AND substance. I reclined on the boxy couch and watched his multimedia presentation of the new SL Preview 1.9.1 features.
You can also check the vid out at Tao's website blog.
A lot of warm citrus tones shows how well this dude is color-coordinated. I really resonate with this too, because as much as I like offline architecture realistically adapted into SL, this is precisely what I'd call realistic from within Second Life. As in, for our avatars, it is a perfectly amenable habitat.
I'm always looking out for things like this—I noticed he has Tateru Nino linked from his blog, so I'm IMing Tat right now about what the connection is.
A lot of fun. I've seen a lot of SL blogs come and go. It's easy to start with a bang, and indeed, I've had friends who made impressive first entries but stopped creating new ones due to other things taking chronological priority in their lives—and Second Lives. I hope this Tao will continue to flow like water, my friend.
