In my early Second Life days, I read the SL Herald. One of my fave articles was "E-L-I-T-E spells DRAMA! As dancers defect to The Deck, Big John vows: 'I will burn u down!'"—not because of the spelled out D-R-A-M-A, but because of a specific quote attributed to BigJohn Jade in the comments:

"Big view land what cause lag, club have many walls stop that"

This stands on its own, regardless of who said it. The source isn't important. The destination is, because the other day, I realized that this is currently true—because of the occlusion culling that was introduced in Second Life 1.10.

How's that for prophecy?
