Throwing a Disqus
Posted on: August 27, 2008Earlier, I was trying the Disqus commenting service but it played badly with my blog: it didn't match the CSS and it also spewed out duplicate comments.
To their credit, Disqus was extremely fast in replying to my help email — thanks guys! — and I did a reset on the dupes and uninstalled Disqus for the time being. That cleared up most of it.
However, there's now bizarre wonkiness in my land o' blog, including wrong comment counts on some (but not all) posts — workaround for that appears to simply make a new comment.
There may be other residual oddities and I'll have a closer look later. In the meantime, pardon for the rift in time and space…

Why do you need an external commenting service at all? I thought you were on Wordpress?

I love Xristosphan soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much… for my end project in college we had to make a slideshow showcasing our work we had done throughout the year in graphic design and I used your song. I first heard it in 2001 or 2002 or something. Maybe from an Internet radio called massinova. But i cannot recall exactly. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you I think that song is a masterpiece!!!!

@Karl: Yes, but one of the touted strengths of Disqus is to work more broadly outside of my blog. In practice, it hasn't worked for me.
@Sylvia: I'm sooooooooo glad you do, I remember composing that track with many fond memories, and am happy to hear you could make educational use of it! Whee!
