"Friendly greetings! My dear Second Lifers, Resis in our community — short for Residents of course — today is 2008-04-08 and Flickr has added video support! I implore you to upload your Second Life videos! Show me what you've got and I'll watch them shortly… and remember, just like they say, even though I do not know what they say: YOUR BEAUTIFUL WIFE SHOULD NOT BE MOVING!"
Gimme kewl linx to your Flickr-Second Life videos in these here comments, and re: "your beautiful wife", it's frum their FQA.
{ 8 comments… read them below or add one }
Torley, you are responsible for 9 out of the first 10 google results for "your beautiful wife should not be moving".
Watch the comment system mangle that quite horribly.
These vids tell me they're no longer available
But I put the 'Torley logs in' video on my blog (click meh name), complete in a Torleyfied (or watermelonized) player
Such a creative way to tell people not to be naughty and even more entertaining to hear it from you. *giggles*
It probably would have taken me a little until it would have dawned upon me that there is video now. That little news text on the homepage never attracted my attention very much.
When I saw the sleepy kitty they had linked as example I was reminded of your I commented on.
*clonk*
Eeek I messed up the tag for the link, sorry. The first time I use them in this format. It should have linked the word "snapshot" that vanished now. My bad
@Elix: It's been awhile, nice to see ya on here! Haha… such a sentence should be clearer for the benefit of international audiences too. Flickr, after all, does have that nice feature that greets you with "hello" in different languages.
@Daed: Urgh, not sure why it'd say that. WHOA, I like that watermelon Revver player and didn't know you could customize it like that! Thanks for the tip.
@Tamara: It still makes no sense that naughtiness would necessarily be limited to motion, because a "beautiful wife" could be still yet X-rated (!). Hahaha "CLONK", that lil' watermelon nessie, he no like long lectures!
Of course it's not a clear statement but I guess that's their idea behind it hehe
That first movie reminds me of this: http://frontierlinden.com/bad_dream/
But on the other hand, it's so much better than having a pile of papers on your RL desk every day, waiting to be taken care of
In SL it's fun at least (or so I think)
@Ayumi: That's a classic, I cracked up SO much the first time Frontier showed it to me. He's a good ideas cat. I liked the previous version with all the IM "Ding-ding!" sounds tho, which I don't hear now.
