Torley on Piano 01 - Friendly greetings

Hi! It's me… playing the instrument I grew up with. Each weekend, I like to take on a different project for fun & enlightenment. I had a stroke of inspiration and decided to give in…

Thus, a new series, Torley on Piano, is borne — each episode focusing on a different pianistic "style" (meant broadly, so-ever broadly, hahaha!) and accompanied by my colorful commentary!

I'm in the process of uploading the first 15 episodes to YouTube, but I'll be posting them one after another at irregular intervals on this here blog. This first ep is an introductory one, showing how exciting it is to make romantic music with 2, or 3 chords.

    How can something so simple sound so beautiful? Your explanation makes it seem so simple, but I could never be able to do that myself! Sigh! I can't play a thing!

    @Seraphine: Similar in that your hands can go back and forth and it gets hypnotic. ;)

    @Xara: Hehe I wish my jacket was more green-pink, but in later episodes I share more of it.

    @Wilhelmina: Thank you so much, I got started at a young age and it progressed from there. I like taking a few chords and then weaving a sort of sonic story around it.
