Tripping the light wikitastic
Posted on: May 9, 2007I added links on my left sidebar to 4 Resources pages I setup on the Second Life Wiki:
I figured, I've planted the seeds, now it's time for them to bloom. So from humble origins they're taking off, and intended to be live documents. I don't have any practical way of maintaining a list by myself, nor do I want to — this knowledge collectively belongs to the community.
The Video Tutorials page is the most popular, having been viewed almost 26,500 times as of this writing (you can see that at the bottom, where it sez "This page has been accessed…"). The others are rising up, with the Clothing Tutorials one, clearly the new kid with a meagre 88 views. Let's observe what happens!
I'd like to thank those who took the time to add new resources, you can see who they are by viewing the "History" tab of each page. Of recent note, kudos to Benja Kepler for this (the first?) sculpted prim tutorial:
Gracious merriment to Natalia Zelmanov, for continuing to be one of the rare uberexplorer-class avatars on the Grid who chronicles her adventures and makes tutorials. She recently expanded her entry on Clothing Tutorials.
And I appreciate Storm Thunders for having added the new Category: Tutorials at the bottom of appropriate pages.
Strength in collaboration, let's keep getting things done!
