Watermelon tutu
Posted on: May 22, 2005Ooops. Dang. Think I spoke too soon about my new keyboard. Now the space bar, something is wrong with it — I don't know if it arrived this way in the beginning, but I've become increasingly aware that it makes an ugly "boing" sound like it's somehow not attached correctly. I pressed it. Firm. Maybe I will take it in for a return. For now, I've put a piece of folded-up masking tape between the space bar and CVBNM keys to damper the vibrations. It seems to work OK, even if it is a bit unsightly.
Rmike Javelin and SuezanneC Baskerville have?put up a collection of photos taken from the impromptu Town Hall last week when Philip Linden, CEO of Linden Lab, stopped by the Welcome Area. Many Residents were in attendance and the atmosphere was definitely welcoming, so I wanted to dance. And did.
Snapzilla is wonderful for bringing together people to share their favorites. If you don't know what it is yet, read this, and I implore you to share your memories too! Some recent highlights include "The hot tub, how she burns…" for its mash-up humor (sadly the display was gone by the time I got there), "Nethermind space girl" which is ideal for CD cover art, and Osprey banging out some harp riffs. That last pic led me to the subsequent discovery of the musical instrument exhibition on Athena, so quite automatically, I had to do my own thing too.
Thank you, thank you HoseQueen McLean for the tutu! The original color was black, but I retinted. You make the connection.
