We like kittens (yes we do)
Posted on: June 5, 2005Not to self, but to you: visit Game Dev sims (1-5)?more, just because games are fun and it's nice to see creative works-in-progress. Actually, I gotta take more trips meself, who knows what else has been brewing — sometimes it's real dandy to visit with the creators and pick their brains, so to speaketh.
One very damn fun event I've attended would be my dear friend Delairen Baysklef's bday, yesterday. So even today, I say HAPPY REZDAY DEL!!!?I first met Del in Fuschia, on a whim when I?had come to?meet her partner Xylor, who happened to be quite elusive at the time. He's inworld more now, so it's all good. Del happened to be making FURNITURE and I hope she will make some more, as she is?becoming more and more of a content creator, having designed?a pair of corkers and several hairstyles already…?Del-Wear!
I'd like to take the time to say: Del has always warmed me with her enthusiasm, her extra-neat typing, her witty sense of humor, and just always being so nice to me. Perhaps one of her best traits is being realistic about the tuff stuff in life without being annoying pessimistic, which is something I was once guilty of so I know how to look for it.
Hope there are many "Jeshes" and "Juppers" to come! Funny fun with debug keys.
The party?happened at the Milk Bar which was primarily put together by Nylon Pinkney and Toast Bard, now wonderful art design. It's very homey, got a lot of atmosphere and even the requisite gritty graffiti on the outside which uppushes my desire for 80s funky freshness in SL even more — city block stylee! Like if I was going to make hi-qual, hi-yield machinema in SL, I'd do it at a place like this. It'd be an ideal set. Jeffrey and I are having a good time.
Idea for dream collaboration: Jeffrey Gomez + Ushuaia Tokugawa working together on a project of scriptastic magnitude.
Memories flashback of Midnight City. Little known fact: Mistress Midnight was the first one to teach me how to set items to group. This happened when I was living in the old Umber dumpster and had to do so, in order to not get things autoreturned. I am currently "caught between homes" as I am moving from the library, but to my great consternation, I have not come across a frumpy dumpster on the MC Island yet. SHOOT.
There's a fire that burns from within, and an ice that chills too.
