Sooo I took a page out of a certain Cory Doctorow novel to see what would happen. The result, thankfully, is not STARK RAVING LUNACY but it comes near at times. <.<
Sinclair Valen made fish with legs awhile ago. Maybe representative of what's in my sushi shoehat.
I sleep in a sort of ancestral bed, it's the former bed of my Mother's Parents—making them my Grandparents—and they used to own it in their own house, which was a Japanese concentration camp of sorts-turned-mansion. (Bars to keep prisoners from escaping, along with a barbaric giant cactus in the yard, remained. This was before the Thai government wanted it to demolish it and build a… road.) Which is, I know, preeetty creepy. Lots of ghost stories from that place. But anyhoo, they sent it over after I moved from one abode to another—this would be roughly 10 years ago—and then I found myself falling asleep quickly. Now, queensize as it is, the mattress is strictly my choice, as are the comforters.
The wood is generational quality.
Sometimes, when I awake and find myself on my computer, I can almost feel a liquid in the air—I've described this before as being part of the manifestations of rippleshock. My circadian rhythm is progressive breaktrance, so waking up at 3 AM has been rather informative to my senses. I had soup-in-a-mug, which was lovely.
I do not think I could drink soup-in-a-mug here, however, unless gravity stood on her head. Ladies and Gentleavs this is Loki Pico's "New and Improved Olive (Underground) Upside Down Room"! Which is exactly what it is. Now, I wish there were more upsidedown places in SL, because that is frankly how I may see the world, but that's why this is a special place—it's unique. I once thot of doing spacewalks with magnetic boots. As Anna Faris has somewhat said, "I've always wanted to walk on the moon".
