What Goes Down Must Come Up
Posted on: November 20, 2005I'm sowwy if you experienced a big, fat 403 error recently. My hosting service, 1&1, pulled the plug on me by miscalculating my bandwidth. I had earlier sent an email in the week upon the receipt of an email with the ominous subject line of "[Warning] Traffic limit: 90% reached".
I emailed them back swiftly, and was told to disregard it. Several days later, when I couldn't access WWW.TORLEY.COM and was rather concerned, I checked my email to find "[Warning] Traffic limit: 100% reached".
Gosh, talk about communication breakdown, eh?
Moments later, I was penning off another email. Special thanxies to Steven Roe and Mel at 1&1 for correcting the error. An error that should never have happened in the first place.
Needless to say, it's great to be back up!
