What if Second Life was a classic adventure game?

2009-01-10

You'd be presented with scenarios like this, that's what!

Second Life: the classic adventure game

It's not the first time I've had this notion, yet it's a recurring dream that continues to permeate my space.

My wife has been experimenting with photomontage, and I saw fit to reinterpret her latest work into a piece of 16-color glory with ConGo. The typeface is noticeably more serify than anything the C64 had, but it's tolerable for an Amiga. I know the aspect ratio is wrong, but bear with me, I was having too much fun. Here's her original, clickthrough to jumbo-size:

I enjoy seeing retro and alternate takes on current titles, so if you've done something like this, let me know!

That cat may be harboring a furball…

@Salazar: I have seen a real furball. It… was not what I expected.

@Reiko: I used to hang out at relatives' who had the bona fide amber screen with King's Quest I!

Torley my lap is dead, so i will but a new lap, and i wan to ask you: how is Sl in your Mac? i wan to buy a Mac Pro. Creetings from Mexico! and i love the work in shots from your wife, are so cute:)!

@Ipanemagirl: Second Life is OK on my Mac Pro but performance is much slower in OS X than on Windows. (On the same computer using Boot Camp.) I wish it was faster! SL is the only app I know which performs slower for me on Mac than its Windows counterpart. Thank you!
