[GAME] Windosill is a stylish, sweet busy box

2009-05-02

Can’t say I’m big on puzzle games. But I doth ken pocket universes, and that’s where Windosill comes in: been hearing raves about it from a variety of my trusted sources since it was released just days ago, and even if you don’t play it to advance levels (’cause you looked up the walkthrough), enjoy the experience and its unique, green-blue-tinged aesthetic design.

Some see lineage in Myst or Samarost; it reminds me more of the more playful Manhole and Cosmic Osmo games because there’s just so much to click on!

Get Windosill, and read Jay is Games’ very thoughtful review.

This is so enchanting! Each room enthralls you with something you’d never expect.
I like the room with the “plants,” especially. Makes me want a jawbreaker =P~~

@Liliannah If you’re still stuck there ARE walkthroughs out there. ;D

But yeah, Windosill is like the modern equivalent of those old sliding puzzle games that contain other riddles within their folds. =]
